The technical and economic blueprint for a non-profit, on-chain village on a mountaintop plateau in the Balıkesir highlands.
ZergLand is a post-carbon village built around regenerative principles and a non-profit treasury. This paper outlines the site, the architecture, the LAND right-of-use model, the treasury, governance, and roadmap.
LAND is an ERC-721 on Polygon granting a 5-year right of use to a unique hexagonal plot in the physical village. LAND is transferable during its term. Renewal extends the right for another term and pays the village's maintenance fee. An un-renewed LAND returns to the treasury and is reissued from the waitlist.
All on-chain transactions settle in MATIC. There are no profit distributions: every fee flows into the village treasury.
ZergLand is non-profit by design. LAND issuance and renewals, retreats, residencies, farm and workshop products, and research partnerships all settle into a single on-chain treasury. Outflows fund maintenance and operations, infrastructure, shared services, and a reserve fund for emergencies. The treasury is auditable on-chain and accompanied by an annual public report.
LAND holders propose and vote on construction priorities, research grants, and policy. Quorum and voting weight are documented on-chain.
Foundation → Build → Open → Scale. Each phase has measurable, public milestones.
